I heard a saying years ago that always stuck with me. “Everyone has their day in the sun.” Everyone experiences joy at some point in their lives, whether for extended years at a time, a nice trip here and there, or just those blessed moments that bring memories for a lifetime. Yesterday evening after an overcast and cloudy day, the clouds broke and my mom was able to see her first sunset in 40 years. I never had shared a sunset with my mom before, so this was a very special night. None of this would have happened without the coordination of my husband @studio92images. He got us a condo on the beach for several nights while my parents’ house is being tented. If you know the journey I have walked with my parents, this in itself was a magnificent feat! God’s will be done. I thank those in my circle who are walking this journey with me. Prayers are being answered all around in the storm. I am very honored, humbled, and grateful. #joy #answeredprayers #sunset #welivehere #floridagirls #georgiagirls #thankyoujesus
